Hey Friend,
You know that pocket of time on Friday afternoon — tasks are wrapping up for the week, groceries put away, pasta boiling, nothing to do for 11 minutes but wait (and maybe listen to a Barilla pasta playlist)? That’s when the unplugging starts this week.
Send someone a special Shabbat Shalom message. On paper. A postcard, with a stamp — the slowest possible message.
A text says, “Thinking of you," for four seconds. A postcard says it for the four days it travels to your friend, and then from the refrigerator door for months.
So, think of someone you love, but haven’t reached out to lately. Write three sentences and wish them a Shabbat of actual rest. Drop it in the mail before sundown, and let it be on its way while you eat.
Put a stamp on it.
The OneTable Team
P.S. Don't miss your chance to unplug together. Post your Permission to Unplug dinner by tomorrow night to get up to a $100 gift card.
